Strong musicianship and the ability to write interesting songs with memorable melodies makes Slovak rap artist Yungfakgod a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Yungfakgod is not a figure one easily forgets and has been making waves in the Slovakian rap scene since 2016 with his stunning visuals and intricate rhyming style. So I think it’s time for a closer acquaintance with the man himself.

How did you get into Hip Hop?
It was really randomly in my fourteen years I think.

What's the inspiration behind your latest release "Jemine"?
Inspiration of " jemine " is our life, my girl and a lot of guys who are against us. I am a living freedom haha:)

Why the name 'Yungfakgod' ?
Is there a story behind it ? Its just a representation of fakgod, cause im atheist so i dont believe in god (fakgod). haha



What's the coolest place you've ever performed?
Definitely our capital city Bratislava.

What are some of the things you like to do away from the music?
For sure I like tattoos and doing tattoos and of course cuddle with my girlfriend haha :))

If you could pick a artist to tour with, who would it be? And where would the tour go?
If we mean in my state u should write "YZOMANDIAS" and the tour would go around the whole of Czechia and Slovakia.

What are the biggest obstacles for independent artists ?
In our state for sure we got so little music audience.
